Myth - No one learns Chinese. What a strange language to learn.
Fact - Actualy, over 800 million people speak Mandarin as their first language, and statistics show that it will soon be the number one spoken language in the world.

Myth - Chinese is impossible to learn.
Fact - Yes, Chinese has it‘s difficulties, but so does every other language.

Myth - The Chinese written language is like pictures. You draw the character how it is.
Fact - Chinese is not written in pictures anymore, but it did start out pictorial, which is why some of the radicals now are produced to resemble what it actually is.

Myth - Chinese has so many different languages within itself that if you tried learning it, you’d have to learn them all.
Fact - Chinese has many different dialects, but the written language is the same. The dialects are simply for various parts of China, however, Mandarin is the most widely spoken, and most of the people who speak other dialects speak Mandarin as well.
